But I digress. We must repair the key, and there remains one final possibility that comes to mind.

I require a rare tome, penned in times long past by Aegwynn, entitled "Treatise on Magical Locks and Keys". It has been lost since the destruction of Dalaran, but whispers suggest it is now held by none other than Lord Victor Nefarius...

This is our only chance. Retrieve the tome.

It is believed that Lord Victor Nefarius dwells within Blackrock Mountain, where he exerts authority over his armies of Blackrock orcs, as well as other terrifying and repulsive creatures.

I don't believe it. "Treatise on Magical Locks and Keys”, written by the venerable Aegwynn herself. In my own hands, after all this time.

Allow me to peruse the pages of this ancient text. I am certain that the knowledge contained within its worn and weathered pages was utilized by Medivh in the forging of this key. By studying the techniques and methods outlined in the tome, we should be able to replicate the process and repair it.
